Ich hatte mich schon als kleines Kind immer gefragt, warum die Benzinkanister in der Playmobil^® Welt immer offen sind?
Kürzlich hatte ich mir den Hydranten angeschaut und fragte mich, ob der rote kleine Verschluss (30 09 9130) nicht die Lösung des Problems sein könnte. Und tatsächlich macht er sich als Tankdeckel sehr gut. Alles was man dazu braucht ist etwas Blue Tac oder ein ähnliches Produkt (z.B. Pritt Multi Fix oder Uhu Tac Patafix), um den Deckel am Kanister zu fixieren – nicht-permanent, da ja von Zeit zu Zeit die Playmos ihren Tank wieder füllen müssen (vergleiche auch den Einfüllstutzen).

I always wondered (even when I was a little child), why the fuel tanks or the jerry cans in Playmobil^® world are always open?
Recently I had a look to the fire hydrant and thought by myself: this little red cap (30 09 9130) could be suitable to solve the problem finally. And actually it works very well; all you need is a little bit of blue tac or some simliar stuff (e.g. Pritt Multi Fix or Uhu tac patafix) to make the cap hold in its place—nonpermanently, because sometimes the Playmo guys want to fill up their tank (also confer the filler neck).

Wie man in der Abbildung sehen kann, geht das nicht nur für den Benzinkanister, sondern auch für die Tanköffnungen an Fahrzeugen und den Benzinfässern.

As shown in the photo this works not only for the jerry cans, but also for the gas openings on different vehicles (cars, boats) and the petrol barrels.
